Served on her jul64-oct65 time frame as a QM1. Remember shore bombardment missions off Vietnam and the picking up of the two pilots (bodies) as we were plane guarding and they crashed and died. A good crew and proud to have been a tincan sailor.

I served on DD528 from 71 till the Nationalist Chineese floated it out of Long Beach Harbor, with my 20 speed schwinn bicycle chained to the deck. I was on Leave when it departed Long Beach. I'm the guy that ran the ships store.

I served on the Mullany in 1965-66. I was in deck and eventually became a gunners mate. I need information on the firing of the 5'' guns as I believe I suffered hearing loss because of the noise

I served aboard ship as a Gunners mate from Feb.1970 to April 1971. I fondly recall the weekend cruises with the reserves and being cramped for space most of the time.

I would like to know if anyone who served aboard the U.S.S. Mullany during WWII remembers a man by the name of Bob Love. He was my uncle and he passed away back in 1991.. He had told my dad about Okinawa in 1945 but he never told me directly. Thank you.

Served aboard Mullany 1965-68, including 2 WESTPAC deployments. What a ride! Cheers to all who sailed with Captains John L. Everngam and Darryl O. Maxwell...they sailed a tight ship with a good crew.

I am just curious if anyone knew my Great Uncle Frank James Milton who was a plankowner of the USS Mullany. He recently passed away and left an account of his time onboard which is very interesting. I am currently serving onboard USS Anzio
