Hi everyone, I trust everyone had a joyous Thansgiving. Our new website host is ixwebhosting, and they offer several features we have not had in the past. Three of them have been added to date. An on site hit counter, this questbook, and a web chatroom. I was wondering how to get someone into the chat room. I guess you'll have to email them and tell them what time you will be onine then log in at that time.

Just wanted to get active on the Mullany site. I really enjoyed the reunion in Baton Rouge and the time spent on the Kidd, in the after fireroom and the sleepover in Officers quarters, it was great!

I just found this site this month. Served late 1961 thru sept 1963, with 1 WETPAC cruise. Lost track of everyone since.

Good Evening, Looking for info on my Grandfather. He served on the Mullany sometime after the 18th of November 1942, but I cannot pin down exactly when he first cam aboard or when he left. He has passed on now, but anything would be helpful. His name is Theodore Nowak and was transferred from the USS Salt Lake City on 18 Nov 1942.

I am looking for information on my grandfather. He served on the Mullany at the time of the kamikaze attack. He died when I was a very young girl, and I'm hoping to put together some history about his time in the Navy. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Dear sir, I hope this picture works as I did not see where I could attatch a picture to this comment section. I own a WWII U.S. Navy deck jacket and it has the name of USS Mullany on the rear of it. This should be seen in the attatched photograph if it worked. I would be happy if you could provide any information about the jacket or it's possible owner, thank-you Kenneth Lewis
