February 19, 1963 photo of the Mullany in her final configuration. She was originally modernized in the FY 52 program, when her torpedo tubes and depth charge throwers were removed. Her bridge was enclosed, the tripod mast added with the standard air-search, surface-search and radio antennas atop it. Also #3 5" gun was removed and 3"/50s replaced her 40mm A.A. battery.
